High level South African delegation meets Secretary Defence!

Colombo::A South African delegation headed by Hon. Ebrahim Ebrahim MP, Deputy Minister of International Relations and Cooperation paid a courtesy call on Secretary Defence and Urban Development Mr. Gotabaya Rajapaksa today (26th June) at the Ministry premises.

The Deputy Minister was accompanied by Mr. Roelf Meyer, Professor Ivor Jenkins, and Mr. Ahmed Seedat.

 

The visiting delegation had a cordial discussion with the Secretary Defence on matters of bilateral interest and mutual relevance. Matters relating to shared interest at the forthcoming Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting to be held in Sri Lanka later in the year were also among the topics discussed at the meeting.

Secretary Defence presented a memento to Deputy Minister Ebrahim as a mark of friendship and corporation.
