Saturday, November 26, 2011Secretary Defence Mr. Gotabaya Rajapaksa graced the launching event of the "Selvam" documentary movie on Friday (25 November) evening at Regal cinema , Colombo.
The film ":Selvam" was produced by Mohomad Mujahim and directed by the famous film actor Sanjaya Leelarathna. The film based on the true ground witnesses of rehabilitation and resettlement of the Tamil people with the eradication of terrorism by our valiant forces.
A rehabilitated LTTE carder does the main role of "Selvam" and that was the remarkabal fact of this film.
Mrs Ioma Rajapaksa, chair person of the Defence Ministry's Seva Vanitha Unit , Laxman Hulugalle, Director General of the Media Centre for National Security and famous film actress and member of parliament Malini Fonseka were also present for this event.
