இலங்கை::இந்திய கரையோரப் பாதுகாப்பு படைப் பிரிவின் இயக்குநர் நாயகம் வைஸ் எட்மிரல் அநுராஜ் ஜி தபலியால் இன்று(11) பாதுகாப்புச் செயலாளர் கோத்தாபய ராஜபக்ஷவைச் சந்தித்து உரையாடினார்.

ஐந்து நாள் உத்தியோகபூர்வ விஜயம் மேற்கொண்டு இலங்கை வந்துள்ள இவர் பாதுகாப்பு அமைச்சில் நடந்த கலந்துரையாடலில் இரு நாட்டு விவகாரங்கள் தொடர்பில் பேச்சுவார்த்தை நடத்தனார்.

இறுதயில் இருவரும் நினைவுச் சின்னங்கள் பரிமாறிக்கொண்டனர்

ndian Coast Guard Chief calls on Secretary Defence!

 

Colombo::The Director General of the Indian Coast Guard, Vice Admiral Anurag G Thapliyal, AVSM, paid a courtesy call on Secretary Defence and Urban Development Mr. Gotabaya Rajapaksa at the Ministry this morning (11 June).

Vice Admiral Thapliyal arrived in the Island on a five day visit yesterday. Before taking over as the Director General of the Indian Coast Guard in February this year Vice Admiral Thapliyal has held a number of high posts in the Indian Navy. He is a specialist in Navigation & Aircraft Direction (ND).

During the meeting, Secretary Defence and Vice Admiral Thapliyal exchanged views on matters of bilateral importance and mutual interest. Mementos were also exchanged to mark the occasion.

Colombo::^th June 2013. He was accorded a Guard of Honour and warmly received by the Commander of the Navy on arrival.

They held cordial discussions and exchanged mementos to mark the occasion. Vice Admiral Thapliyal is also scheduled to visit Kankasanthurei in the Northern Naval Area and Thalaimannar in the North Central Naval Area during his visit to Sri Lanka.
