இலங்கை::புனர் வாழ்வளிக்கப்பட்ட நான்கு முன்னாள்  புலிகள் இயக்க உறுப்பினர்களுக்குஜோன் கீள்ஸ் நிருவனத்தில் தொழில் நியமனம் வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.பாதுகாப்பு மற்றும் நகர அபிவிருத்தி அமைச்சின் செயலாளர் திரு.கோட்டாபய ராஜபக்ஷ அவர்கள்  (மார்.21) அமைச்சில் வைத்து மேற்படி நியமனங்களை வழங்கிவைத்தார்.

ஜனாதிபதி செயலகம் தலைமையிலான உப செயலணிக் குழுவானது வடக்கு கிழக்கு மாகாணங்கிலுள்ள பின் தங்கிய பிரதேசங்களில் ஆங்கிலம் மற்றும் தகவல் தொழில் நுட்ப அறிவுடன் சார்ந்த தொழில் வாய்ப்புக்களை, புனர்வாழ்வளிக்கப்பட்ட இளைஞர்களுக்கு வழங்குவதற்காக நடவடிக்கை எடுத்துள்ளது.

இத் திட்டமானது தனியார் துறையினரும் அரசும் இணைந்து செயற்படும் பிரத்தியேகத்திட்டமாகும், தொழில் இல்லாத முன்னாள்  புலிகள் இயக்க உறுப்பினர்களுக்கு தொழில் வாய்ப்பளிக்கும் பிரத்தியேகத் திட்டமாகும்.

Jobs for rehabilitated ex - LTTE Youth!:-

Colombo::Four rehabilitated ex-LTTE cardres received letters of appointment for employment at John Keells Holdings PLC, from Secretary Defence and Urban Development Mr. Gotabaya Rajapaksa today (21st March) at a function held at the Ministry premises.

In order to take measures to reduce rural unemployment using ICT, Presidential Secretariat, Industry sub- committee of Presidential Task on English and IT embarked on an initiative to create IT/BPOs in rural areas. Special emphasis were made to create opportunities for youth of the North and East.

Under this initiative a public and private sector partnership was formed to create employment opportunities for rehabilitated ex-LTTE combatants with IT skills.

The foremost initiative will be launched in Jaffna in April with four employees and will be expanded to twenty in near future. Recently recruited four personnel are receiving training in Colombo.

Ministry Officials, Presidential Secretariat Officials, Bureau Commissionaire General for Rehabilitation, Officials of John Keells Holdings PLC and rehabilitees were present at the occasion.
