சர்வதேச மனித உரிமைகள் தினத்தை முன்னிட்டு புகைப்படக் கண்காட்சி!:- Photographic Exhibition held in view of World Human Rights Day!

இலங்கை::சர்வதேச மனித உரிமைகள் தினத்தை முன்னிட்டு  அரசாங்க தகவல் திணைக்களம் ஏற்பாடு செய்த  புகைப்படக் கண்காட்சி    பத்தரமுல்ல  தியத்த உயன பூங்காவில் நேற்று ஆரம்பமானது. பாதுகாப்புச் செயலாளர் கோத்தாப ராஜபக்ஷ பிரதம அதிதியாகக்கொண்டு இந்த கண்காட்சியை திறந்து வைத்தார்.

மக்கள் தொடர்பாடல் மற்றும் தகவல்துறை அமைச்சின் செயலாளர் கலாநிதி சரித்த ஹேரத், அமைச்சின் மேலதிகச் செயலாளர் திருமதி அமதுங்க, தகவல் பணிப்பாளர் நாயகம் பேராசிரியர் ஆரியரத்ன அத்துகல உட்பட  பல பிரமுகர்கள் இந்த நிகழ்வில் கலந்துக் கொண்டனர்.
மனித உரிமையை பாதுகாப்பதற்காக அரசாங்கம் மேற்கொண்ட பல்வேறு வேலைதிட்டங்களை சித்தரிக்கும் பல்வேறு புகைப்படங்கள் புலிகளால் கொல்லப்பட்டவர்கள் புகைப்படங்கள் இங்கு காட்சிக்கு வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.ஜனாதிபதி மஹிந்த ராஜபக்ஷவின் ஆட்சியில் இலங்கை முழுவதிலும் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்ட அபிவிருத்தி நடவடிக்ககைகள் தொடர்பான விவரணத் திரைப்படங்களும் இக்கண்காட்சியின் இறுதி தினத்தில் காண்பிக்கப்படும்.
இந்த புகைப்படக் கண்காட்சி நாளை 12 ஆம் திகதி வரை நடைபெறவுள்ளது.பொது மக்கள் இன்றும் நாளையும் காலை 10.00மணி முதல் இரவு 10.00மணி வரை இக்கண்காட்சியை முற்றிலும் இலவசமாக பார்வையிடலாம் என அரசாங்க தகவல் திணைக்களம் அறிவிக்கின்றது..

 

Photographic Exhibition held in view of World Human Rights Day!

 

'Buddhi Prabodhini', a photographic exhibition to commemorate World Human Rights Day was declared open by the Secretary Defence and Urban Development Mr. Gotabaya Rajapaksa on Wednesday evening (10th December) at the Diyatha Uyana park in Battaramulla.

 

The three day exhibition is jointly organised by the National Youth Services Council, Sri Lanka Federation of Youth Clubs and Youth for Human Rights and the Road to Rights organisation.

 

The proceedings began with observing a one minute silence in honour of the late South African leader Nelson Mandela.

A large number of visual displays depicting the horrors of the gruesome war, especially that of human sufferings and post war reconciliation and development in the former theatre of conflict is on display.

 

A booklet containing the speech made by Secretary Defence at the Pakistan - Sri Lanka Joint Seminar on 'Political and Diplomatic Challenges Faced by Nations during and after Conflict Confined to Borders' at the Lakshman Kadirgamar Institute on February this year was presented to Secretary Defence by the Director General of the Government Information Department, Prof. Ariyaratne Athugala.

 

A large number of people representing all nationalities joined the 'Dhawala Rathriya', street walk that had been organized in parallel to the photographic exhibition. People both young and old walked in support of peace and Human Rights education.

 

The exhibition intends to convey the message of progress on steps taken to preserve the rights of the people over the years and the post war development in the north and east.

The exhibition will be open for public viewing from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m every day. Visitors will also get a chance to watch documentaries on thematic subjects at the venue.
